I've plumped for two Sandisk Ultra II 2GB cards - £26 delivered by play.com.

I could be wrong but I think that 1Gb is the limit on the S3.

Have an S2 IS. Can get over 350 images on a 1GB. Should be enough for one card. Also a good way to reduce the risk of losing a lot of you images by spereading it over two cards. Mike

Andrew:
The 1Gb limit refers only to the amount of video it can record continuously after one click.

The S3 can use cards up to 4Gb at least - I'm not sure about 8Gb cards.

Michael:
Having had a card die on me in the past, I'd plumped for two cards instead of one for the reason you mentioned.

Thanks Declan, I thought that 1gb was a little odd after I had posted. A limit for video clips makes a little more sense.
