its either getting a weak signal which is causing it to disconnect or there may be settings enabled to disable the internet after a certain time to maintain the battery?

this disconnection really only started when BT upgraded me to fibre. the strength of the signal is medium. from one room to another.regards Jim L

urmm.....my bt hub has different names for the 2.4 and 5ghz networks so its easy for me, if you go to your hubs web setting - put this in your browser:
\\192.168.1.254
[epzimg]23010_1590750360.jpg[/epzimg]
you should see where and how many devices are connected
you can then check there
