Bri, from all I've read about it in the website that Barry listed, the airshow is actually in Kemble airfield. Although I have heard mention of Fairfield, so I'm a little confused as well.

They're about 13 miles apart so I wouldn't like to end up at the wrong one!

Perhaps Barry knows more about this?

I hope it's at Kemble, as that's where I'll be heading. Although I will be driving past Fairford on the way, so if you flew in from Coventry to Fairford you could thumb a lift.

Coventry's a bit far out of my way..Smile

Bri, sorry! My mistake!

It does actually fly to Kemble, I have no idea where I got Fairfield from! Late night, still not awake yet!

No problem. I'm definitely up for a pleasure flight once we're there.

Hi Guys,

Just to confirm that the Classic Jets Air Display is at Kemble in June and Fairford is at . . . . er . . Fairford in July.

I'm glad Fairford is still going ahead otherwise I've given the RAF Benevolent Fund an enormous contribution Smile

Barry, what were the plans for buying tickets for this ? Everyone buy there own ?

I only ask because there's a chance I might not make it and I don;t want to see anyone out of pocket. I was just going through my diary with a mate tonight (arranging our annual jaunt to Amsterdam) and my darling wife said I can't go on the 15th as she is helping out at the playgroup fun day. Well, after the grief she gave me last time she arranged something that clashed with a business trip to New York I had forgotten to put on the calendar, I was mightily p*ssed off and pointed out to her that it was not on the calendar and that I had told her about this nearly 4 weeks ago.

Oooh bad move. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I am off on the North "West" meet up next weekend (from Thursday to Monday, as I am visiting family as well) and have just arranged a jolly to Amsterdam with a mate and have just spent a grand and a half on a new camera. So I have to be super nice at the moment and if she can't find someone to look after the kids then I won't be able to make it.

Fingers crossed.

I think it's best if everyone make their own arrangements Brian as there doesn't seem to be any benefit in buying in bulk.

Good timing Ed.

As you can see, Bri can't make it now, so maybe we could each step forward to take a roll call for those of us who will be going on June 15th.

O.K., step forward and number off from the left:-

ONE . . . .

Looks like it's just us then Ed, still that'll mean there's more room on the grass - oh er!!

I'll contact you a bit nearer the day to arrange somewhere to meet up.
