Hi all,
Advice please. I subscribe to Creative Cloud.
I use Lightroom CC, Photoshop and I also use ON1 RAW 2021.
Should I use ProPhoto RGB, Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB?
Should I use the same colour space/settings in all of them and should I use 8 or 16bit Bit Depth. My lightroom is set to 16bit and Photoshop 8bit.
I print photos and upload to Facebook and Instagram. My monitor is Eizo and calibrated by ColorNavigator 7. I intend to purchase a Canon Pixa Pro 200 when it comes in stock.
Many thanks

LR uses ProPhoto RGB for its operation anyway. You can set what you want it to render as when using external editing for which I choose 16 bit TIFF and Adobe RGB. This matches well my printer as I print some of my images. I also archive my finally edited TIFF files as well as the original Raw files. I will often save the final TIFF files at 8 bit once all the editing is completed. For a few multi-layered files where I may re-visit the editing, I will save at 16 bit psd files. I produce temporary image files for web or projected images from the TIFF files as and when needed. The requirements are varied so no point in me producing or storing JPEG files permanently. The JPEG files are created with LR Export in which I can set the image size, file size and colour space normally sRGB for projection and web.
