Companies in liquidation

Does anybody know anything about company liquidations?

I am researching a local company who, according to website www.ukdata.com have filed a 'Notice of Appointment of Liquidators', but who according to the free search at Companies House are 'active'. Either ukdata are making things up or Companies House are lagging behind a bit (notice suposidly served 2 days ago).

Thanks

Phil.

It's not a straightforward process but there are details on the companies house web site here but I found they are normally quite quick to update records, although a couple of days is probably a bit soon.

When it comes to informing 'CH' of a Company's situation, it is beholden of the Board to be expedient of informing CH of it's decisions and intentions. CH will always be in 'catch-up' mode because of workloads.
