Connecting Nikon D7000 to Meade etc 80 telescope
This is all new to me so if anyone has used this combination I’d welcome any comments or advice. I assume I need to get a T2 adapter to fit to my camera and then a ring to connect the camera t2 adapter to the telescope. Also I assume the telescope adapter replaces the eyepiece. Hope this makes sense so far. Please point me in the direction as I appreciate I could be well off target with this.

A good few years ago I did similar with an Olympus E410.
I also tried a small compact on the eyepiece, thus allowing the eyepiece focus to be used.
I did consider a CCD adaptor but houses being built behind us stopped this.
