Copy-paste text problem
In microsoft word version 16-16-15 I wanted to copy/paste my text to another page but some of it showed up like this I_t_’s_ _p_r_e_t_t_y_ _m_u_c_h_ _w_h_a_t_ _h_a_p_p_e_n_s_ _e_v_e_r_y_w_h_e_r_e_ _
even though all looked normal prior to copying.

I can only assume that one of the many complicated on/off systems is on the wrong setting. When you highlight a section of text and then go to the top bar and press 'Copy', go to the place where you want to paste it and far left is the paste icon, press on this and there are several options. If you want the exact replica press the little arrow underneath the word paste and the click on the first icon that appears.
Thanks Tianshi. Hmmm, I have been highlighting the text and then, with the cursor in the right place press ctrl V. I have just finished copying it all but using exactly the same system throughout, some of it is fine and some of it decides 'not to cooperate' and looks like this?
Yes, did this..."go to the top bar and press 'Copy'," and it pasted just the same. The copy tool wasn't at the top, it popped up at the bottom of the page, don't know if that makes any difference.
For those who may experience same problem, I found an answer. I was working on a Mac but I opened the doc up on a PC then it all copied/pasted perfectly. I then saved it on a memory stick and put that in the Mac and the text then transferred onto the mac pages I was working on and was fully editable.
