I tried to upload a photograph to the critique galley and I thought I had but it went into the photo gallery. Do I need to renew my plus membership to use the critique gallery?

LOL I'm having a right disaster today. I've lost my upload and can't upload another because I've reached my limit. The one I uploaded, the colours were messed up, I tried to edit it and somehow deleted the whole post.
