ive heard about cross processing E-6 films through a C-41 process. has anyone tried this and what films work well doing it?

Never tried it in the film world but have a great digital recipe for it..... which I've explained here in the thread (example in the modificatios)

is this something most labs will do?
have some out-of-date film that needs developing

I take it the dev. charges will be for negative rather than slide?

most pro labs will cross process - I don't know about normal high street ones. There's normally a small extra charge for doing it (similar to the charge for push/pull processing) and yes you should be charged for the C41 process

There is only one high street lab that I know if that will cross-process E-6.

my local boots do it...not a problem..no xtra charge..just norm c-41 good luck experimenting!! it's worth it..
