Darkroom Chemicles - Oxidation?

NEVER, EVER use drink bottles, especially if there are children in the household, for any chemicals because there's a danger that kids might drink it.

The active ingredient in the Kodak Seleniun Toner that I used to use had an LD50 half that of potassium cyanide - half as much needed to kill somebody.

When I was a student apprentice at ICI back in the 1960s, one of the men from the Paraquat (weedkiller) plant used a pop bottle to take some product home. The raw Paraquat didn't have Bitrex added so it tasted just like water. A mouthful was enough to kill one of his children.

ICI was very strict when it came to safety so a warning was circulated to all staff. We tend to remember incidents like this.
