He has an estimated worth of 60 million, he gets paid for doing brilliantly what comes naturally to him.

I will leave you to answer your own question.

Somewhat bizarrely, I've twice had strangers come up to me in the smoke and say I look like Mr Gilmour (can't see it meself, and can't stand his music). It'd be nice if one of his large royalty cheques would float my way though!
Is he as good as Mr Waters live though???

as good as Roger ... ? i can't answer that one but i have see David Gilmore playing at earls court a good few years back as Pink floyd and it was mind blowing .

Far superior, and what do you expect when the gig ended with Gilmour, Wright and Mason playing together, not something Roger Waters will do !

Never seen him play live, but got a few friends who'ver seen them both on their respective tours and they all come down on the Gilmore side - no one on the Waters tour can play guitar like Dave after all.

never fear though

Pink Floyd tribute band "Off the Wall" are playing Halifax Piece Hall on the 7tyh July so I'm sure they'll blow the socks off the old bloke's performance! Smile

yeah right

Alway`s been a big fan of Floyd.

Find I still like Roger Waters and David Gilmour equally. Because what they do, they do so well

Just been listening to Roger Waters, Amused To Death and In The Flesh. Two great albums.

Does anyone know out of interest if Jethrow Tulls album "UnderWraps" is available anywere. Got it on vinyl but well worn.
