Can anybody recommend a free simple DAM software to rename and tag etc my image collection?

I have tried Adobe Bridge but whilst looking promising at first it sight it later drove me to distraction trying to batch rename my images.

Which platform? If Windows Faststone is considered to be good, if Mac then Digikam or Darktable might do what you want.

DigiKam good for free software. Darktable is OK but slower than DigiKam and not as user-friendly IMO.

Thanks guys. My OS is Win10.
I have found Faststone Soft (Viewer) v7.4 which is doing the job of Batch Renaming my files at the moment as I want them. I am finding it user friendly so far.

The download site offered both Windows and Mac versions.

Glad you got sorted, sadly for us Mac users FastStone remains Windows Only....
