Do you have any questions for Nikon?

I'm a Nikon devotee but have experienced dissatisfaction with the service department on a number of occasions. Nikon produce excellent cameras and lenses but they're not that good at marketing or fixing them.

Quote:Do they have any plans to go mirror-less with for instance, their entry level range (D3100-D5100)... .
I'll answer that one.................. no!

Excuse me for the not perfect knowledge of English, I will write with mistakes Wink
Lately I met an interesting inquiry. It was made in September, before the Nikon 1 mirrorless cameras presentation. This inquiry is here: http://club.foto.ru/forum/44/612653,4#p7037739

Let me translate results
Question: Will your buy a Nicon mirrorless camera?
With so crop-factor not of course: 64%
Yes, I entirely pleased of it: 4%
I'll present it to my wife (dauther) on New Year: 3%
I have already got an mirrorless camera: 14%
I would buy, but I don't like the camera design: 3%
I would buy, but I don't like price: 11%

Only 180 persons voiced where, but I think result should make to reflect (discussion was followed by the active discussion).
First, I'd like welcome the announcement of Nikon "The Megapixel Race Ended Years Ago" (but although the D800 rumors: http://www.nikon-d800.net/ conteract this announcement) - I don't criticize, no-no!Grin I understand, it is marketing requirements.

My question for the Nikon representatives:
Has Nikon plans to make something, which combine the better characteristics of Sony NEX-5 (dynamic range, lo noice level, decent kit lens quolity) and Samsung NX-200 (full HD Video in MP4 1920x1280, 30fps and convenience of controlling)?

The weeks are passing and no sign of any response to our questions from Nikon.

Disappointing. What's the point of them asking for questions and then ignoring them?

They replied to them earlier in an article.

I also asked about the Nikon US pricing, Nikon UK said (to paraphrase) they would not be doing anything like that in the UK, as UK laws would not allow it.
