I am going to upgrade from my ist ds!......a superb camera I must say,the choice is the K10 or K20!....forgetting all the bits and pieces added to the software which I will never use ,what is the quality of the pictures like?....I have trolled the web for sample shots, and to be quite honest I have seen nothing spectacular from the K20 that warrents the extra outlay. I would rather spend my money on good glass than a box of multi million pixels!.......what are your opinions my friends!...thank very much......Kenp

Yes : the K10D does everything I want: not enough difference in the K20D to change- it still has maximum flash sych at 1/180th sec. same as K10D. I do all my local press work on the K10D but use my FILM Pentaxes for all my holiday snaps and Club photos.
