Nope - but there are some expensive machines around that play both.

Some would argue that there's always been a certain amount of agony involved... Whether it be personal, emotional or professional is up to you... ;o)

The whole concept of little disks, of whatever type, spinning around in a machine has a question mark over it. Solid state is looming large.

The Blu-Ray versus HD-DVD "battle" is akin to rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic! Wink

But as Keith says, there are now players which can play both types. This is one of them.

Well my friend has to decided to get a cheap dvd player that is HD equivalant and says beause it is cheap, it would not bother them if they had to bin it in 18months, like everyone did with beta-max videos if blu ray (yes blu ray, not sugar ray as in the boxer), won the battle of the dvd's.

Was that Ray Band Or Ray Charles, ??? Could be Ray Gun.

My monies on Ray Gun, don't know him though.

I'm with CB's words, Flimsy discs may soon become Coasters.

Hang on a mo, Thats what I use them for now.
