Ebay buying

I'd just like to share my experience of buying from Ebay, or Honk Kong to be exact.
I have bought 2 lenses, a 2x extender, a flash and a remote, to get to the point I have nothing but praise for the companies I have dealt with, in fact my last order a few days ago, canon L lens, took 3 days + a few hours - 6pm Monday arrived Thursday 8:30 am and still cheaper than in England/UK, the company was Kea-Photo, run by two Canadian guys apparently, but I thought I'd let people know they aren't all bad.....

I bought from Digital Rev a while back - but got collared 39 quid extra by the courier for duty / VAT or something.

That Kea-photo shop does look good - D200 for 650!

Kea-photo are a very good reliable supplier IMO. They are cheaper than the big HK names while offering a very personal / friendly /professional service. I recommend them.

I've bought numerous items from these and similar online retailers, but never felt the urge to spend more than a few quid. It's the warrenty issue that worries me...

ebay is good place to get photo equipment.
Tip : look at the feedback from the seller ,it gives a good indication of how good the the seller is.

Dream on, The new models offer nothing that would make jumping ship worthwhile (I can't see anything offered that is not already available in the Canon range) although you can expect quite a few second hand Nikon and Canon SLR's coming on the market with people upgrading to D3's, D300's, 1Ds Mk3's and 40D's

I think those people just have data sheets not the camera's.

It's worth checking as far back as you can with some feedback as sometimes you will see the feedback is repeated. Some E-Bayers used to be able to buy feedback.

Hi,
I have bought a sigma 70-200 f2.8 from URgalaxy and to say I was blown away with the quick delivery is a understaement.
I did however spend a long time checking them out ,including asking on this forum.
