I’m clearing out a friends house and he has an enlarger. Before I throw it away does anyone know if the enlarger lens is worth anything - I suspect not.
The lens is a durst neonon f2.8 50 mm

Thanks

There are quite a few photographers who delight in using retro lenses with mirrorless cameras using a suitable adapter (I am not one of them); presumably your lens has a 39mm "Leica" thread? If so it would have a little value to somebody I would have thought.

The enlarger may also be worth money, so you could try posting it on your local Gumtree or other free ad service.

I’d agee with the above, Durst was/is? a very popular brand, so if the enlarger is also of Durst manufacture, I’d consider seeing if there’s some resaleable value there...but even the lens alone might meet someone’s requirements...before binning it..!

If you google the model the eBay ask price - presumably without a lens - is around £80
Track a few items to see what they sell for.
You need to make sure the enlarger works - and with luck on your side maybe even find the instruction manual.
My guess (it is a guess) is enlarger and lens might fetch £40 on eBay
