Mark (markulous) came up with a great idea for the book to feature members who have most improved since joining ePHOTOzine.

You know who you are. If you want to be featured post up here with a very short summary of how you think you've improved and we'll get a shortlist together. I'll also accept recommendations from other members.

I can probably squeeze about six or so into the book with a small selection of photos from each.

If you are wondering what the book is about...check here ePHOTOzine Guide to Great Photography

Don't worry Pete, I've sorted your link out...

You need to use = instead of the - after the word link in future...

I suppose I stand a better chance of qualifying for such a category than by getting ECs in - which I dont have. No, just joking. Theres probably plenty of people who improved so much over time that they ended up with a list of ECs. I think K (answersonapostcard) is probably a very good example to use.

Damn! If only I'd uploaded my worst photos when I joined instead of my best. Foiled again!

Hi Pete, don't know how I missed this original thread. Wherever I can help including buying the book (which I have followed the link) or contributing anything (if you think I am contribution worthy!) then please let me know. Darrin

At the risk of being acused of self promotion:

I feel that Epz has really helped me improve having gone from this to this in a year here.

The critiques and comments I have recieved now form a mental check list that I work through when taking a picture.

I would nominate Zippie for the improvement category, but I don't doubt his big cat pics will get him in the book, anyway!

Would it be possible to keep this thread to real improvements not fun stuff?
Sorry for being grumpy, but the book's going to be a nightmare to organise and I need clarity in is sort of mail
My fault for not stating that at first. I'll flag the ones I don't want jokey stuff in future. Thanks for understanding Smile

So just to confirm...this thread is only for people who you feel have most improved since joining ePHOTOzine. Link to portfolio with short explanation why and how they've improved.

How about Miles who has gone from this to this with fifteen EC's in between.

BTW my first suggestion was serious too.
