As the Euro has declined from a fairly long term 87p to now about 74p there seem to be some good bargains from the Eurozone. I've just bought a Nikon 1 70-300mm for 700 from Holland - the Wex price is 870.

Yep. I just bought a Wacom Intuos Pro Small for around 115. Amazon UK show it at 154.

There was a similar situation 3-4 years ago when the US$ declined rapidly and US photographers were buying big expensive lenses from the UK.
Attractions of buying from the Euro Zone, if living in the UK, are VAT will have been paid so no liability for tax on arrival in the UK, plus usually UK importer warranty cover on digital camera bodies and lenses.
