I've got elements 11 and just had a play and all I can come up with is this:

open an image and then, File, then file info, then open the tab at the top called description.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for?

Thanks Ken - but I am wondering if it is possible to add to the details ..... to assist with copyright etc.

Pages 40 and 41 have info on creator data, - might be what you need?

Have you not got it added at your camera stage? On my Canons I have input my details on one of the menu screens and that appears on my exif data. My problem with Elements is that if you save to web you lose the exif data anyway!!! lol
Hope this helps - PM me if you want any help with finding it on the menus. Lou

I believe you can tell Elements NOT to delete EXIF in Save for Web?

That's right...I always use "Save as" instead of save for web after I have finished tweaking/adjusting, resizing and sharpening for uploading. That saves the exif.
