Expired film

Off topic but I did not find a category dedicated to film. I have KODAK 320 TXP expired 2008 always refrigerated. Would it possibly still produce good results?

I've found that the various Tri-X films to be very tolerant of abuse.

The chances are that it'll be OK but I'd do a clip-test if in any doubt.

I would say yes but you should rate it as of lower ISO now and inform whoever's going to develop it of how low ISO you have shot it as. I think the rule of thumb is when kept refrigerated lower one ISO value for every 10 years in cold storage.

Pentaxpete shoots with expired film often, he is a very good source of knowledge on film and film cameras.

Open little black boxes find big surprises! I've found today I have one more 35mm cassette of the discontinued Kodak BW400CN. I thought I had finished them all!! But as spring blossoms I took out of the fridge an expired (2018) Agfa Vista colour 200 ISO film...
