I'd suggest adopting Herod's approach to controlling the numbers of infants, but that would only skew the numbers even more...................

Anyway, aren't babies just younger, immature versions of old people?

Perhaps we would have a better society with nearly a quarter of the population over 65 by 2023, so maybe we should increase cloning Smile

But also there are some interesting potential social and economic implications in the figures. For example

- Insufficient pension funds so that the state pension ceases to exist
- Increased demand on health and social care services
- providing a wider range of products and services for the over 65's

Just wondered what the view was from the EPZ community Smile

State support for us "olds" so that we can:

- indulge in dangerous sports
- eat, drink and be merry
- start experimenting with drugs again to see if they were as much fun as we remember from the '60s
- partake in compulsory unsafe sex encounters (after the SAGA model - "Sex And Games for the Aged" )

well, you get the general trend of my ideas Wink

Much better than state aid to fester into incontentinence and dribbling in old peoples homes
