do you go out in the rain to take pictures
I take a camera pretty well everywhere I go, every day ..... on really rainy days I tuck my tiny SONY RX100 into my waterproof to be ready at all times whilst it keeps as dry as posdible.
My every day LUMIX GX8 is supposed to be showerproof, but probably not with the vintage lens I use, attached, I take quite a few shots in the rain, whilst remaining conscious regarding what damage a good soaking could do.

I live in Scotland do I have a choice? But mostly with my Canon Powershot and if I'm out I'm out don't usually run home if there is a little shower.
Having been on holiday in torrential rain this week, I tried for the first time to shoot with the camera on a tripod and me holding an umbrella over it. Absolute shambles, and I won't be trying that again! Even between showers, you could see the rain coming, (Ardnamurchan)

Not as often as I used to, but thanks for the reminder
Will do so more often - one of the main reasons for choosing the Pentax was that it and its kit lens are weather resistant, and so far rain hasn't troubled it (Fingers crossed

I put a lens hood on and taped a plastic bag to it. Samples from Plymouth pride event.
