Has anyone used a Flash Sound Trigger system?

Im looking for one to do a photo shoot to take a photo in the dark via sound (with a canon flash)

I found this wee lad on ebay

what do you think? (safe to use?)

I can't help you on that specific system but a read of the EPZ Reviews might be helpful or visit EPZ member Captivephoton where he posts reviews on several systems Here

Michael,

Your link doesn't work says listing removed - but I would consider using a light beam instead of sound if at all possible.

Don't know what you are taking shots of, but if it's anything fast you will find that sound always has a significant delay + the issue of the noise YOU make as you set up. I have one that is so sensitive that the sound of the click setting to bulb triggers it, even just getting from the camera to the subject , in the dark, to drop/fire it is a nightmare.

So if you are going to buy something, I would recommend getting one that can use either to give the option.
