Apparently Flickr changed their rules and thinks threatening me by email to pay a subscription is the best way to make me use them more. Sorry Flickr, you were not interesting so I've forgotten all about you. I will not be paying £47.99 a year.

I thought once you reached your free account limits further uploads were not possible.

In fact I get reminders when I get close to the limit, so all I do is delete some of my earlier photos, which I hardly ever go back and view anyway.

My understanding is that they are changing their criteria for free accounts so certain types of photo such as partial/full nudity and anything stronger than that will no longer be allowed and will be automatically deleted though it will take time for them to get around everybody.

I only have a free account with them and have no plan so far to upgrade.

Apparently my violation was "You have more than 50 non-public photos on your free account."

Yes, that rings a bell. I think either non public photos are being banned for free accounts or a limit is being imposed on the number.

I thought you were not allowed to mention other photographic websites on ePz. Often seen links to others removed in the past.!

Sorry, didn't know i couldn't do that.
ePhotozine is way better anyway - its the only place I always come back to.

I think that mentioning other sites is okay as long as we're not promoting them but links are banned.
