For Sale: 3 x Bowens Studio Flash Heads
I have my Bowens Prolite flash system for sale. 3 Heads, light stands, all cables, 3 umbrellas and 2 wheeled travel cases to store everything in. I have had these listed on Ebay and Facebook Marketplace but have had very little interest which may be the purchase cost (£350 inc P&P) or simply that no one wants to buy a decent British built system these days or anyone who wanted studio heads has them already. I don't want to just give the system away but if there is anyone on here interested please contact me and maybe we could discuss a price. I have already asked MPB but they will not take it in PX.

Yes they are still available, are fully functional and in a good 2nd hand condition. They have no dents or paint scratches and I looked after them very well using them for studio shots and also black tie events such as at Police Balls and also Military mess functions.
I live close to Salisbury and at present have them on FB reduced to £250.
Let me know your area of the country and I'll see what I can do about the price. I worked as a civilian supporting the Army and RAF for 40 years so would be keen to see them go to help support your activities.

Thank you for your speedy reply Graham, I did 19yrs in the RAF and was Medically Discharged.
I'm now in the North West (Rochdale) and would need to find out if I'm able to save the £250 + postal as I'm still getting the space together, I'm also trying to discover if there is any assistance available as I find it very restricting to raise funds on my own.
I will keep your details until I do get the cash together though.

Thanks for your interest. The 2 cases containing all the kit weigh 16 kg & 12 kg and I would need to find 2 large boxes to package them up to ensure a safe delivery. I will keep them up for sale on FB and Ebay at £250 but as I said previously I would be keen to support your activities so If / when you are able to raise £200 get back in touch and I'll see what I can do for you. Ironically I had a contact from Austria on Ebay but the postage costs were prohibitive so definitely not selling it to anyone in the EU.
