Is it just me and my old eyes that has difficulty in reading the forum topics.

A light blue font on a pale blue background surrounded by bright white does not do it for me I am sorry to say

Ken, if it is this panel you mean, I am seeing it as blue text on a grey background. Not finding it a problem to read, personally.

I agree with Rambler. I don't know why the print has to be so faint. It really is tricky to read for some.

And for me, my eyes are getting old and it is difficult to read sometimes!

Yes it is this panel, I really do find it hard to read because of the lack of contrast.
