Is anyone else having problems with their ...Freesat.... receiver and dish since all the torrential rain hit it ?

We have two dishes on our house mine, and my sons.... both of us lost all programs on Saturday, then yesterday there was a partial recovery, but for programs high up the Chanel list such as BBC News, the Sony film changes and Talking Pictures for You.

This morning, once again none of my regular cgznels worked, but then, after clicking on the few that did work......BBC 1 -2 and ITV began to work again.

Switch off.....and the problems starts again.

My son, did go on the flat roof to dry connections yesterday.

Such is modern life.

Hi,
Our dish takes a battering from the inclement weather of Dartmoor and is very exposed, we have had no problems apart from a couple of 'freezes' when watching the 'HD' channels solved by switching to the non -
HD channel.

We sometimes get problems with the weather. Couple of weeks ago though, I lost all signal for 2 days. My wife was away at the time, and when she returned, she asked me if the dish was OK. I kind of went "duh" but checked anyway.... sure enough, the strong wind had blown the dish round a few degrees. Fixed it in 2 minutes. And tightened the nuts properly this time Grin
