Frustrated potential buyer
During the last few days, I have been researching, and considering the purchase of a new FUJI X 100 V camera…. After lots of mumbling so grumbling and head scratching, I decided to go ahead….
To my utter surprise and dismay….I discover, today that they are like, hens teeth…. No camera store with miles has one…. EBay stock is from ~Japan or the USA at a premium… Amazon no stock… London Camera Exchange no stock…. Any ideas anyone….?
I fancy the silver and black body….
Or….do , I simply stick with my trusty, tried and tested LUMIX GX9 ?

MPB have a "like new" item in stock but ithere's only one.

I am surprised you did not know that there has been a chip shortage for some time now. I bought a new camera just over 12 months ago as this problem had already been identified. I bought my new Sony before there was a shortage.
I really need a new PC but decided to postpone as I am not keen on the changeover period. The shortage is longer than predicted but I can manage with my PC; it is just a bit slow.

Chip shortage tell me about it, I ordered a new Mercedes GLA 5th July last year. I spoke to them recently and was told it will be another year, so I cancelled the order. 2 years to get a new car is a joke.
So now I have ordered a Hyundai Tuscon, they tell me I will have it last week in July, I won’t hold my breath. So things are far from been over, in anything that needs these chips
