I am going to purchase a new laptop for my Creative Cloud etc. Do gaming laptops have the correct 'colour gamut'. i am also going for 32gb for ram. I like to print !!

Advise please.

Straight out of the box, a gaming laptop's monitor is likely to be too bright, too saturated and too blue - which is what gamers prefer. I suggest you get something with which to, at least, calibrate the monitor for photography. Something like an Xrite i1 Display Studio.

I have a gaming laptop - it is a Median. This is the second I have had. The first one I mistakenly thought that as the battery had become useless it conferred the laptop to the rubbish tip - but a grandson-in-law took the battery out and then plugged the computer in and it still works perfectly but I had already bought this one, so have a back up anyway!!! I adjusted the screen with the Windows adjuster but I also have a Spyder so the colour has not caused me any problem.

I'm no expert on laptops, but if I were doing any serious editing or printing, I would prefer to have a decent external monitor connected.

I stand to be corrected if modern laptop displays are plenty good enough for editing, but I was always led to believe they are far from ideal.
Don't know if this is still the case.
