A few years ago I down weighted from my beautiful Canon 7D Mkll with the 100-400 on the front to a Fuji XT-2 with their 100-400 due to my 78 year old neck complaining too much after a day in the field. Now I've been finding that a bit on the heavy side so again down weighted and this time, after a lot of reading reviews and asking questions I've bought a Sony RX10 MklV bridge.
Had a play with one in a shop yesterday and that was what convinced me. Very light compared to the Fuji and ergonomically very comfortable in the hand with excellent OIS and AF.
I'm sure some of you on here has one so would like to hear of your experiences.

Cheers

Sometimes its less hassle to take a smaller Camera. I have a Panasonic Lumix. My normal Camera is a Canon EOS 1200D.

That's a kilo and a bit. Serves a tonne of a performance but I would suggest you to weight the advantages of the Lumix FZ330, same zoom, less megapixels 691 grams instead of 1,091. The price difference can buy you a nice holiday abroad. That's a zoom Sony can't reach, lol. =)

But if you want quality to enter competitions stick with Sony, the image quality is very good, you won't be missing the Canon.
