I don't know which camera you have, but it sounds to me as if they have been written to a different directory on your card instead of the usual one, go to the menu options of your camera and find view folders or directories you might find them there Smile

1. Format the card using the format facility on the camera. The card should now be blank.
2. Connect camera to PC.
3. Use file explorer. Can you see the card. If so are there any folders that the camera has created by default. If they are copy the images frpm PC to that folder. If not just copy to the card.

Hope it helps

Sometimes if the computer has changed the files in any way (resizing or even just rotating) then they won't show up. But if they're the originals in the same place, I can't think of any reason for them not to work.
