Has anybody done a photoshoot at this location? do you need to pay? what are theyre rules with photography or does anybody know whom i can contact regarding this please? TIA

No commercial photography allowed but public access is not a problem.

Security on site so don't upset anyone!

Don't see a problem then.

It can be busy at weekends with lots of tourists milling around. I know they don't like you to leave tripods around and flashes on stands would be a no-no.

There's a great view over Kelvingrove and the rest of the city from up there and I'd also plan in time to go to the Hunterian museum on the first floor - well worth a visit! If you get the chance, go into the University chapel - absolutely magnificent.

Proud to say that both of my daughters are Alumni of Glasgow, one in Medical Biochemistry, the other in English Litreature Smile

I have taken images in the University grounds on many an occasion without anyone questioning me, both in the undercroft beneath the Bute Hall and in both quadrangles.
I don't see you having any problem if you are a lone photographer.

i should re edit my question....has anybody done a photoshoot WITH A MODEL here ? many thanks for all the input so far it is appreciated.
