I have left it a bit late as usual due to work commitments etc and am finding it difficult to find accommodation in the Glen Coe area week commencing Monday 23rd August 2004, for 1 week

As I promised to take the family this time there are 4 of us instead of the usual 1, so if anybody has recommendations or experience of possible availability in the area please post in forum.

If you have cottage - BB - Hotel or similar for rent in that area please email me your details here

And take your tent . . .

Sorry, only been there in the winter and always camp. It's such a small area with so few B&B's / Hotels, you might have to settle for Fort William and endure the drive.

Go to Scorrybreac guest house in Glen Coe. Great B&B run by a very nice couple (Emma & Graham). I was their first ever guest when they first opened Smile

Hmmm . . . now you know why I camp in winter. As for Bothies, well some are ok and the ones no one know about are even better, but from my experience camping is best. One of the most amazing experiences of my life was waking up to a -20 ground frost in the shadow of Carn an T-Sabhail, 18 miles from the nearest road.

Nice one Chris. As I said Scorrybreac is really nice, and the owner Graham is a photographer too!
