Graphic tablet recommendation

I have just started to 'perfect' colouring my old Black and White photos. The thing that holds me back is having to use my mouse to control the brush when colouring areas in. The obvious answer is to use a graphic tablet and pen. However I'm overwhelmed with all of the choices and price range.
Will you you give me your opinions to help me get the best solution at a sensible price.
Thanks in advance

Agreed, great to use and they last forever! I have an Intuos2 that has to be about 15 years old (or more) and once you have got used to it, which doesn't take longSmile you won't know how you ever got by without it!

Another vote for the Intuous Medium... Just make sure you give it time to get used to, I have used nothing else for a good many years and now find a mouse 'alien'...

I use an Intuos pen and touch. Had it for a few years now. Takes a little getting used to as Phil says.

IPad Pro.
Not the cheapest but you basically get a Wacom Cintiq set up that travels with you.
