The original thread here is a bit unwieldy so I'm revamping here.
If you'd like to join a few EPeezers on Hadrian's Wall with the added bonus of a few bluebell woods locally then add your name to the list.
You can come for the weekend, just a day or a couple of hours - everyone welcome.

So far the list reads:

MikeH
hotchef23
Col Wal
telstar
Dave Thelens & Kittycam
NeilM
Alleycatz
Wooly
Lawrence
Loweswood
Deanl
Sut68 +2
Petra16
Northernlight+1

tcavner - maybe
toonboy - maybe
angelaD - maybe
Culturedcanvas - maybe
Keithh - maybe

Okay - it's getting nearer.
If your on the list and definately coming you don't need to do anything.
If you're on as a maybe can you confirm one way or the other please?
If you need accomodation please PM me with price range/type.
We will be meeting at Steel Rigg car park at 3.15am on the 12th May for a 04.05am sunrise,
Blue P marks the spot
I haven't got a rigid itinery but I'm hoping that one of the new site features will allow me to post maps of the various places we hope to cover - if you can't make the sunrise you should then be able to locate us through the day.
Sunday will be a sunrise meet starting at Housesteads Car park.

If you fancy Hadrian's Wall but the date's wrong maybe this
will be of interest.

The Gilsland Spa Hotel does a very fine Carvery on Saturday night - it does need booking so if you want to round off a days photography with a good meal - let me know.

More later, Merl

I came upon this term being used frequently in a forum on another site that I am a member of.

Presumably it means the same as 'bookmarking'?

No, it means adding a post to get the original thread back near the top of the 'recent posts' list.

As in "bumping it back up".

Never seen it used in these forums before. I thought that's what bookmarking did.

Okay - it's getting closer and so I thought I'd give this another spin through the forum.
Please be aware that the Wall path can be strenuous and you'll need good footwear, preferably walking boots. Even when it's glorious weather it can be very muddy on bits of the path.
There are stiles to climb so it's not easy for anyone with mobility problems.

In some woods here the bluebells are out already I'm keeping an eye on the local woods and nearer the date we'll see what's worth a visit.

The only people I've heard from so far are:

Mike H,
Telstar,
Sut689, Fran & family.
Dave Thelens & Kitty Cam,
Neil M

Please add your name to the list if you fancy coming along.
Doesn't have to be for the whole weekend, drop in & out as you please.

Any chance of giving me a rough idea where you will be and when? Danny is on holiday, Alistair may have a course in and Norman works Saturday so I will have to see which locations I can get to.

Hi Merl
I have had my name down for ages but am sorry to say I will now not be able to make it. I unfortunately will be in the UK the previous weekend.
Hopefully next time
