Has anybody else had problems with "my-picture.co.uk" orders?

Recently, having seen this website advertised on EPZ, (my-picture.co.uk) I decided to order a tote bag from them for my sister with a photo of her cat on it, her only companion during this troublesome time. Weeks later it has still not been delivered and when contacting customer services they claim now that it is the fault of Royal Mail and it is out of their hands. However, they do go on to say that they have many problems with deliveries, as they claim, a fault of the postal service.
I would like to know if anybody else has suffered such complications ordering from this firm.

While I have no knowledge of this firm - with properly packed correctly addressed items I find Royal Mail extremely reliable.

Customer Service should be able to give you the order number - and the date it was posted.

If they cannot - should they be in business?

As you have not received what you ordered you have a legal right to your money back.
How the firm sorts is out any issue with Royal Mail should be their problem and not yours.

If you paid by debit card - contact the card provider and arrange for a reverse transaction so you get your money back. There is a time limit to start this process - from memory about 2 months.

If you paid by credit card raise the problem with your card provider. It may take a few weeks for you to get your money back .

Either way when you get your money back you can if you live near your sister buy her a bunch of flowers.

I thought that I would comment as I work for Royal Mail.

Often situations like this arise due to a packaging issue. Sometimes the package has not been correctly sealed or an address label has somehow peeled off the item when in contact with other items while the container they are in is being emptied.

First thing to find out is does the item have a tracking code and if so, what depot was the last scan located? If this can be found then the item could still be there or in the next one along the pipeline.

It is worth raising it with customer services who will filter it down to the relevant office.

I have seen numerous instances of packets incorrectly sealed which the contents come out when being tipped ready for sorting. Also items with missing address labels and quite a few instances of photo orders from online printers seperated from the package they arrived in.

When found these items are usually attempted to be reunited with the packaging and sent on their way. If this is not possible then they are sent to a specialist office in Belfast who will further attempt to locate either the recipient or the sender.
