I read awhile back of how to change the area around the picture (not the picture itself) from gray to black. I now need to add black step mounts to my images but cannot see them because this area is already showing as black. The default color in this area was originally gray. How do I reset it to the default color of gray? The program is Adobe Photoshop 7 Thanks

Hello

The default colour for the background is: c0c0c0

To change it to that colour select the above as foreground colour on the colour swatches. Then select paint bucket hold shift and fill in the canvas area....

cheers
