Help Needed to Connect Fimi Palm to App

I have been involved in photography for over sixty years and have generally moved with the times and technology during that time.
So recently I was considering the likes of Osmo Pocket and Hero versions, but while browsing I started to get interested in the Fimi Palm as it seemed to offer a reasonable product for much less money.

Anyway I got one and generally speaking it's really good, I need to memorise the clicks and swipes to enable me to use all of the features. But for the size, really pocketable, the photos and videos are remarkable. But, I noticed that the feature to create panoramic shots didn't seem to work. The idea is that multiple shots are taken and then it creates a final singe image by knitting them together.

I contacted the Fimi help centre who tell me I need to connect the App to my phone and then the App takes care of the final step.I have downloaded the App easy enough, but have been trying for ages to link the camera to the App, but keep failing. I have tried youtube but the videos on there are pretty useless.

So my plea is to anyone out there who is a user of the Fimi Palm 1 to give me a step by step walk through for me to follow.

Thanks for looking

I have no idea about this John but I wonder if it is done by Bluetooth - I have a sound box that works through Bluetooth and I found that Bluetooth was actually switched off on my computer. May have nothing to do with it but I just wondered!!

Tianshi_angie Plus, Thanks for trying to help, I have quite a few things, earbuds, speaker, car phone etc all connected by Bluetooth, that's what I can't understand! I have connected Bluetooth quite a few times.

It would appear to need Wi-Fi, but I thought that I had followed the instructions, but it's not happening!

I can only assume there's a little step I'm not completing, but the instructions are not very detailed, neither is there anything on Youtube that clearly shows it.

If it needs wi-fi should it not just pick that up automatically? Can yo connect it to something that is already connected to wi-fi - like a computer - sorry I'm probably teaching my grandma to suck eggs!!!
