I am planning a fun, easter/spring-themed portrait photoshoot with a good friend (female).
Since have never done a Spring/Easter photo session before, I was wondering if someone had some good spring-like poses/vibes/colors and ideas to help spark some creativity?

Yellow/purple outfit. Daffs, bluebells. Maybe surrounded by eggs. Or recreate a scene from The Birds using only chickens.

How do you even know what part of the world the O.P. lives in, let alone what restrictions may apply to them?????

Leaving home specifically for photography or having a stranger except for limited work activities in your home is illegal in England until around 14th April.
In USA depending on how "continental" the location fields of daffodils might be hard to find.

Wear a pair of trainers and it becomes "exercise."
Bright early mornings can give lovely light on the emerging tree buds etc; scope out the area beforehand if you can at a similar time to you shoot time so you can think about sun position/shadows etc. Spring in the UK can also be a time for showers so even shots with bright umbrellas and wellies can work.

Thanks for your help! Haha, ok, so I am not a “fashion expert.” I was just wondering how do I communicate to my model to wear “fun/spring/pastel/light/bright colors/vintagey” clothes?
I am not sure if there is a more “professional” way of communicating the style that I am looking for?

Possibly the best way is to have a pre shoot meeting with your model.
Assuming she is not a professional model explain where outdoors you intend to shoot, look at what clothing outfits she has, and take it from there.
