Help planning an Easter Photoshoot with a friend!

Quote:Right now travelling from home for what you have in mind is illegal under the Covid National lock down.
A location on your property as a back-up in case lock-down is in place on Easter Monday on 5th April seems wise.
I don't see the O.P. mentioning anything about travelling???????
How do you even know what part of the world the O.P. lives in, let alone what restrictions may apply to them?????

Quote:I am in a US state that does not really have restrictions!

Good.
Leaving home specifically for photography or having a stranger except for limited work activities in your home is illegal in England until around 14th April.
In USA depending on how "continental" the location fields of daffodils might be hard to find.

Bright early mornings can give lovely light on the emerging tree buds etc; scope out the area beforehand if you can at a similar time to you shoot time so you can think about sun position/shadows etc. Spring in the UK can also be a time for showers so even shots with bright umbrellas and wellies can work.
Stay safe.
Stay safe.

Quote:Thanks for your help! Haha, ok, so I am not a “fashion expert.” I was just wondering how do I communicate to my model to wear “fun/spring/pastel/light/bright colors/vintagey” clothes?
Thanks!
Possibly the best way is to have a pre shoot meeting with your model.
Assuming she is not a professional model explain where outdoors you intend to shoot, look at what clothing outfits she has, and take it from there.
