Please can all the good members of epz help us? We have a brand new kitten , born on Monday night. Any help with naming it will be gratefully received! We'll let Sam and Poppy choose from suggestions received. Just off to feed it now, Mum's no milk so we're on 2 hourly bottle feeds.....

When after fifteen years with a Golden Labrador who passed on, we decided our small section was too small for another dog and a cat it was.

In view of my wifes desire for another dog I suggested Kittydog ... and it stuck .... now she has also moved on and it has been decided that responsibility for an animal is too much of a tie ... so now the field mice invade in mid-winter :-(

I have a friend who called her kitten Kitney Spears, which I thought was completely inspired.

LOL, good one!

Or how about, in view of the letter M on it's head: Mitten.

we got a new kitten three weeks ago and two of the suggestions we had were: Seefur (as in C for cat) and cooking fat (exchange the F and the C with each other once the kids are out of ear shot). Now that she is climbing curtains, biting feet and pulling herself along upside down underneath the sofa I think that the last name is quite appropriate. In the end my son settled on the name Daisy.

Steve. It's my favourite name for a cat in the whole wide world. Even if it's a girl....
