Help with Contax t2

I had a problem with my Contax T2 where the frame counter went back to zero about mid roll apparently no reason. I kept shooting thinking I would be able to take all the exposures regardless. However upon developing the roll I realised the camera kind of skipped 20. Attached is a picture of the summary. And obviously I have not taken the missing exposures at all.
Is this the frame counter that’s having an issue? Does anyone have an idea ?
I have now loaded another one to test the behaviour hoping it won’t represent itself.

It looks as if the shutter didnt actually move or the focal plane gap didnt open....maybe a loose battery connection....were the frames correct that were not exposed or was it a smooth length of film without a hint of numbers and spaces?....the only thing that normally zeros the frame counter is the back opening unless its an electronic counter and that brings us back to power fail, but if your contact print is correct the spacing has worked so just shutter or battery!.....mind you its a long time since I used contax g2 or t2 for that matter.

I have only taken 17 exposures actually, 14 of them before the counter reset, and 3 after. What happened in between I have no idea.
Battery is brand new (2 months old) and I do not remember of opening (even by accident) the back either. It is indeed an electronic counter, but I am not too sure what to do.
I loaded another roll yesterday, so far so good at frame 17.
