Help With Portfolio

22 Apr 2012 1:04PM
I've just joined up as an e2 member and would be grateful if anyone could advise on portfolio management.

Since December I've been uploading images to the Critique Gallery, and these first versions are showing in my portfolio.

Having received loads of great advice, I have improved the images and it's these final, better versions of my shots that I'd like to show in the portfolio, and not my first attempts.

How can I do this? I'd be grateful for advice.

Also how do you get images into your "Showcase" section of your portfolio.

Finally, when I signed up it said something about a complementary "Foliopic" account. I'd be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction to set this up.

Hi Elaine,

Open your pf. and in the row of buttons across the top, there's one marked "More." It's towards the right.
Click on that and in the dropdown, there's an option marked "Showcase manager." Click on that and you're in!
As for any 'old' images in your pf. that you'd like to get rid of, you can just delete them.
I'm not sure about the Foliopic thing, I signed up when the offer was first mooted but the site offered doesn't hold enough images for me. The site looks OK though.

I think the foliopic offer is the other way round, you buy the foliopic and get E2 free.

Ah right.........thanks for letting me know that. Cheers

Could be worth checking that.
I know that at one time Foliopic sites were being given to members because, even though I don't use it, I've got one.
It might have been a one-off though.

Yes, I'll check it out Bren.........I thought it said that you get the basic Foliopic. Don't know if I'd use it, but I'll check it out just in case it's included
