Here because of Debbie

Hi Everyone
My name is Dave and I am lucky enough to live in the North York Moors National Park. I spend as much time as possible photographing my surroundings with a Canon 400D and Sigma 10-20mm lens. I arrived at this site from Waterfront Photography, a wonderful site belonging to a wonderful lady called Debbie whom I met at a Joe Cornish Workshop last year. She has been a great help and inspiration to me and if ePHOTOzine is good enough for her, it certainly is for me. I am hoping to post some pictures as I could do with some positive criticism from fellow photographers rather than the platitudes one tends to get from family and friends. Thanks for taking the time to read about me.
Dave

Hi Dave & welcome Smile

This is most certainly THE best place to learn, as I can guarantee from personal experience Smile

Looking forward to seeing your work - - just be aware that EPZ is horribly addictive, but you'll be fine as long as you have a spare 36 hours or so a day!!!! Wink

Not quite but I do run a very quiet (and very reasonable) campsite and camping barn. It is something of a dream of mine to walk these hills in the company of kindred spirits.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I'm looking forward to this (although Fran's pictures are scarily good).

On the contrary, I feel like I'm getting nice and comfy on the sofa. I've been made to feel that welcome. Thanks, Penny
