Hi all would like some help I have a canon 500d but I can't seen to get the histogram to display on the screen is there a way to get this to show on the screen I've gone into the settings gone on histogram and set it to rub but nothing is showing on the LCD when viewing pictures please can anybody help.

Hi do you mean in playback mode. Not got a 500D, but in my canon SLR if you press the info button it cycles through the display options, including two versions of the histogram.

Edit just checked, it does the same in live view mode.

As a matter of interest carphunter, have you read the manual???? So many people don't bother to read the manual and probably 70% of all answers to questions asked on this forum are there! You'll get so much more from your camera if you do read it Wink
