What I would say, is its fine looking for the cheapest quote. But ask yourself if the worst happened are you sufficiently covered by a policy that covers all your needs.

Having gone through the turmoil this year of a house fire, you don't need any further stress than is necessary. Paying slightly higher than the market rate, I'm certain helped us when we really needed it. Even then living in a hotel for weeks on end, coordinating being at the house when loss adjusters, workmen and service providers were due - when trying to hold down full time jobs was the most stressful event I've had the misfortune to endure.
