How can you tell what camera fit a lens is

Hi, I have a Sigma DG 70 - 300mm lens but have no idea what camera it is for. Is there a way you can tell.

I don't think there are any markings on Sigma lenses to indicate which camera system the lens mount is for.
Most are fairly obvious, although the original Sigma SA mount is visually quite similar to the Canon EF mount.
If you could post some pics of the mount end of the lens, I might be able to tell you.
