For what it's worth I think it;s horrible! Garish, in yer face, hard on the eyes,cheap. Does nothing for the standing of the site, quite the opposite in my opinion.

Not really a problem for me, I don't spend my time on the homepage. However a slash of colour isnt a bad thing now and then

Apart from the colours, the sides bleed off the edge of my screen on the tablet, and there are huge gaps with just blocks of colour on my PC. But it's not something I look at, so garish be it.
