I have recently acquired an Ilford Prentice and there are two shutter speeds - one is b setting and the other is "i" for instantaneous. Can anyone tell me what speed is i ?
- my guess id 1/120th but I have seen 1/50th somewhere on the internet

Very difficult to find information, but the camera is a Kershaw-Soho Penguin with an Ilford badge.
At.http://www.artdecocameras.com/cameras/kershaw/penguin/
It states that the shutter speed is 1/50 second measured.
Which is where you might have seen it.
