In the early days I deleted quite a few thinking 'they weren't good enough'. The first one in my portfolio now is this one:-

I remember when I took this image, it was the first time I'd seen a Hare! (I was so excited).

I think it might be this one, slightly modified. I don't know any way of going back through the forums that far.
I was very proud of this, still am, it is a scan of a print made in my darkroom and psuedo solarised in the wet and selenium toned.Taken at Blists Hill Industrial museum on a Bronica ETRS 645. I still have the negative somewhere.

Can't remember as it's not in my portfolio any more though I do have a folder of all images uploaded here so it'll be there somewhere. One of the smaller ones as I recall the limit was 600 pixels wide in those days.

My first upload was a scan from a 120 roll of Velvia transparency.

What is interesting is the names of people that voted back then, non of whom appear to be around on epz anymore !

This is the earliest photo in my portfolio for March 2004, but I joined in 2003 and think I deleted earlier photographs. I think my first photo was of a lake framed by some trees but my memory isn't what it was. Smile

First shot uploaded into the Critique Wanted gallery. Nice to see that good ol' Ron Tear was around then. It's sad to see the names of those people who don't use the site any more. I still keep a lot of them in my Favourites - just in case.

Can't see any exif but think it was taken with a Canon G9 compact.

In the old days when Pete was around, EPZ seemed much more friendly and active - forums and photo gallery.

I should have added: it's still a valuable photography resource though - because I did not intend to be critical of the website as it operates now.

My first upload taken at a Masons evening of my father-in-law chatting to friends.

From many years ago, I also used to delete a lot form my portfolio as they were rubbish! (not much better these days) Smile

Pretty sure I deleted a few in the early days....but this one's probably from around then anyway..

Slightly congested....graveyard around St Michael's church - Shotwick, from EPZ Rhydymwyn meet 21st July 2007. (During this visit, a local character turned up who was responsible for the graveyard gardening and upkeep - who was worried that our tripods were actually metal detectors...They allegedly have a tombstone of Blackbeard-the pirate and people have turned up in the past wondering whether he took any 'valuable' metal artifacts to his grave....!)
